So many of you have written us to point out that the method of linking we have been using doesn’t work in all browsers. We changed it.
Before, this wouldn’t work in some cases, but now this does. (We hope.)

The fast-forward time stamp doesn’t work on Facebook.
I tried linking it directly from Youtube and using the link you provide.
Is there a solution to this, or is this the way the FSM deems so?
Guys,
thanks for the great work! I read your blog every day, and I really love it. Especially the last two posts. I mean… the story with the user base? Oh, come on! This is epic!
Keep up the good work!

Cayobo you need to click on the actual link. the embedded player does not support deep links. if you want to ensure viewers end up on the deep link, click on the X to remove the embedded player.
I know its probably no where near an easy thing to accomplish… But would your site ever evolve to a point where if I’m watching a video on youtube and decided I wanted to link to a certain part, I could just add “time” after youtube in the URL and it will take me to http://www.youtubetime.com with the youtube url already entered? It’d be mega-handy! =P

“B) even if they do, they forget how to do it”
Thanks for the website!
Hey anyone know if this is possible or will be possible for embedded players? I tried to put it in the embed code. Player looks fine untill you want to play the movie, then it says it can’t play due to error… try again later…
posted too quickly found it:
&start= and then fill in the seconds…
Consider adding support for the new shortened youtube urls, with HD tags!
ex) http://youtu.be/OqpMFsnN7hM?hd=1
Currently, it rejects these urls as invalid
If you want, you can also put just a number as &t= variable. This number is the numbers of seconds you want to start playing from.
For example, if you want to start playing at 2m30s, you can put &t=150 as variable (2 x 60 sec + 30 sec).
Just FYI
Thanks broz!!!
You guys are cool.
There a way to time clips over 60 mins?
I want to link this: http://youtu.be/guXirzknYYE
Yes, this would be it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guXirzknYYE&feature=youtu.be&t=3602
Awesome. Simple. You’re great.
Now, feel good about things people say about you in the internet.
You deserve it.
You guys have done a great job with this.
Is there any way you can also start doing a page where youtube links can be shortened with the time?
hhahha, guys! You’re the cure for my laziness!
Yo is it possible to link to a section of youtube video like for example selecting a start time and an end time….?
Is it already possible or is there any talk about adding end times to url that have start times?
thanx. works for me!
